ain't no party like a wei party

WHO: ALL OF YOU.
WHAT: Cao Cao's throwing a hugeass party at camp. Mingle, get to know each other and remember who paid for that booze! Create your own threads, threadjump and have fun.
WHERE: The metaspace that is the camp area.
WARNING(S): Beyond typical party shenanigans, not much.

[What is there not to like about a party? Especially if it's hosted by someone like Cao Cao. Never let it be said that Cao Cao didn't know how to party.

The camp was festooned with dark blue banners with the crest of the Kingdom of Wei on them. Whether you like it or not, it's a reminder of who put this on in the first place - but it seems like tonight is not to be a night for hostilities. (any attempt to change the decor, and cao cao will sic his bodyguards on you.)

There was an abundance of food and drink, ranging from small dainty snacks that could be picked up with your hands to a variety of spit roasted animals to satisfy that craving for meat. Drinks ranged from the mildest teas to the hardest forms of alcohol from both Japan and China, for the bravest amongst the warriors. and Needless to say, everything in-between was provided.

So, relax. Enjoy the party. The snakes can be dealt with later.]

[She's not sure what brings her here, but, there were drinks! She thought perhaps a drink or two would probably get her mind off of a dear someone she lost... yeah, it's not working. It's only been three little cups, though.]

[Yukimura doesn't like seeing pretty girls unhappy. Especially at a party. He gestures for Kunoichi to come over to where he is.]

Now now, what's the use of being sad at a party? Crying into your cup won't make you feel better.

[Oh, someone noticed her. Strange, Kunoichi's certain she's never met the guy before, but he feels very familiar to her. She wipes her remaining tears away with her arm; she hopes that he's not trying to pick her up or anything. She definitely wasn't interested. Then again, what could one expect at a party? Kunoichi slowly moves over to where he's at.]

And you think you can make me feel better? [Gives him a bitter smirky-smile. Let's see what his intentions are.]

[He doesn't like girls with pretty faces sad! That's all it is. Really.]

I can, because I'm a gentleman who can carry a conversation.

Okay, how about a laugh? I could really use one right now.

[Yukimura takes a small sip from his cup of sake, before going back to addressing Kunoichi.]

Only if you promise to laugh naturally and not force it.

Hmm... alright! You got yourself a deal.

[So Yukimura starts telling this story involving an enchanted snake. He's very animated, using his fan to represent varying things throughout the course of his story. It's a rather long tale, so at the end...]

The group of men caught it and... and I forgot how it was supposed to end. Fancy that.

[Behold, Kunoichi let out a small laugh! She was laughing more at the fact that he'd forgotten how the tale ended rather than the actual tale itself.]
