The demon army entries...

WHO: 'Shutendoji', whoever wants to fight him and his army
WHAT: Some more fighting, brainwashing, possible hypnosis and everything
WHERE: Nagashino
WARNING(S): There are not any yet... probably angst?


['Shutendoji' had taken position inside the castle walls of Nagashino. He had kept the doors of the mainkeep carelessly open - he didn't see any need to lock himself into them. Plus it wasn't like he intended to stay in there all the time. On top of it, he wasn't only accompanied by Orochi's demons, but the ones from his own world as well - the ones he had made drink the 'sentan', a medicine that strengthen the demons and bring out their deepest and ugliest feelings.

And this was still not all. Kiyomori had given him another few henchmen. Famous warriors that were under his control now.]




((ooc: Feel free to toss up brainwashed characters in here, and if you want to fight 'Shutendoji', he has several abilities that go along the lines of hypnosis with words, looking into people's mind to see secrets even they might not be aware of and he can warp time and space. Just give me a heads-up if you want to fight against any of those powers or how far it is okay with you that he uses them on your character!))

...Lady Oichi. Will you be all right? I don't know what he means by that...but he was able to do something to Lord Yukimura's mind...

[Good luck with that-- right now Yukimura is a dead weight. He shows no sign of stirring, even after being touched.]

[With that said, she steps towards Shutendoji once more.]

[Good thing Zhao Yun is helping, then, because even if being a rasetsu gives Saitou enough strength to heft around a deadweight guy who's almost a head taller than him, the size difference still makes it pretty awkward.

He doesn't like the idea of Shutendoji's demand any more than Zhao Yun does, but Oichi is showing the same kind of determination Yukimura had to go in alone. He doesn't have to like it, but he has to respect that.]

...we will not be far if you require intervention.

I have an ability with which I can look into your heart.

[Unlike with Yukimura, he kind of prepares her for what was to come. He glances at the other two men.]

I promise I won't do anything to her now. An oni never breaks their promise. [Unlike humans, who did that quite frequently.]

But stay here. I don't know how well she will take it and you might end up carrying her back as well.

[He approaches her slowly and raises his hand over her head.]

Are you ready?

[stay there, huh? It's not like Zhao Yun and Saitou are in much of a position to disagree. But Shutendoji stating things like so, it's probably worth it to listen and stick around. All the better to have a moment to rest, even while toting their weighty burden. Zhao Yun is watching closely, though, not entirely trustful just yet]

[If she's feeling anxious about this at all, she doesn't let it show. Instead Oichi simply nods, willing herself to stay calm.]

I am ready.

[Saitou, too, stays put and watches closely. And admittedly...he is curious - about how this works, about whether it's common among the oni...it's nothing that ever came up before, but on the other hand, they only had to deal with a small handful of them, at home.]

[There wouldn't be much to see - not for them anyways. He on the other hand is likely going to see a lot. She already had the guts to willingly show herself to him on her own, so that put her a bit higher on the list of his trust.

So he activates his power once again to look into Oichi's memories, feelings and the like.]

[There's many things in her mind that he will be able to see - how her brother turned against her husband, how she was forced to choose between them. How she stood by her husband's side and protected him all costs. And in this world too, how she'd tried to fight for a better future for everyone, putting aside clan lines so that they could forge a better existence for themselves.

As for feelings, the main one aside from determination was fear. The fact that she was scared they might never make it home, or that Orochi and the Hydra would completely overpower them and that there'd be nothing left for them anywhere. That if they didn't work together, they'd never be able to make it.

Before she even realises what he's done she starts to feel dizzy, and makes a soft noise of surprise before falling to her knees. What a power indeed...! And yet she didn't know what he was hoping to gain from it all.]

[Saitou's posture tenses up, but - she's taking it better than Yukimura apparently did, and she's not out of it yet.

So he stays put...at least, until he sees what Shutendoji's reaction is.]

[He had seen enough. She was honest, she was loyal, she was... used, betrayed. By her own brother. And yet it still didn't cloud her.]

You're really an idiot.

[He mutters that silently before he let out a gasp of pain. Reverting back was hard and the sentan had taken a considerable stroll on his body, but he manages it. His hair becomes much shorter than before, the golden eyes turn into blue ones and the black horns on his forehead disappear as well.]

Sorry for doing that to you. Can you stand?

[he couldn't leap to assist Oichi when she fell, but now the change in Shutendoji just makes him startle in surprise. Who is this guy?]

What of the battle? Will you call back the troops?

[since...usually when the commander backs down from fighting, the battle is over. Right?]

[It takes her a moment to recover from that, but once she does, Oichi looks upwards to watch Shutendoji-- and the change in him truly is something else.]

[Did that mean that she'd been able to convince him? She didn't quite trust her feet yet, but she nodded anyway. Zhao Yun and Saitou can handle the technical details.]

I will be fine. I simply need a moment.

[Shutendoji sighs a little, but there was a point - he had to call them back quickly. As long as they were still listening to him.]

Yes, I will.

[He looks down at her, offering a hand to her in case she needs help to stand up.]

Come, Lord Saitou, let us get Lord Yukimura to the healers. Lady Oichi...

[he just gives her a sort of smile, sort of pleading look, a nonverbal thank you combined with worry that she might be risking a lot more remaining alone with Shutendoji]

[After nodding to Zhao Yun, she turns her attention back to Shutendoji. Hopefully the other two can sort out their injured friend, but at present she has other matters to attend to herself.

She takes the hand that Shutendoji offers her and uses it to help get to her feet. Though she's a little unsteady, it's nothing terrible, which she is grateful for.]

Thank you. Please, Shutendoji-- speak with Lord Shingen. That is all I ask.

There wouldn't be much point to let you run if I didn't intend to do that.

[He sighs once again. Between Kiyomori and the humans he wasn't entirely sure what was the better choice. But one thing he had realized at this moment - helping Kiyomori felt a lot like what their ancestors had done back in the past to expell them from the oni in the first place. Though interacting with humans was a reason to expell them as well. In the end it probably didn't matter much what they were doing.

He averts his eyes a little, but he also tries to make sure that she won't fall on the ground - not without him being able to catch her in time if it happened.]

[She pauses for a moment, mulling it over. Really, she realises that it must be a huge sacrifice for him to do this, and to put so much trust in a person like her. But Oichi is glad that he's decided to reach out, even if it's only temporary.]

It's nice to meet you, then. My name is Oichi. Wife of Azai Nagamasa, sister of Oda Nobunaga.

Yes, that's my real name.

[Of course he is still a bit hesitant - he has just met her, after all. That he had chosen the name 'Shutendoji' for himself didn't come out of nowhere either, considering the connection of his clan to the famous demon.

He manages a weak smile when she tells him her name, though.]

I know. I have just seen it, after all.

[She can't help but smile in return.]

[He grins a little. She was really trying to play nice, huh? He knew he had said before that there wasn't any other choice for them, but perhaps... perhaps he could really believe in this.]

Then... Takeda Shingen, where is he?

I do not see why he wouldn't. The resistance army has many different people in it, and not all are human either.
