[OOC] THIS IS A SETTING PAGE OR SOMETHING
There will soon be fabulous screencaps here for your perusal, to give you an idea of what Koei's weird China-Japan snakeworld mash-up looks like. But these are only for basic reference and to give you an idea of what kinds of crazy shit you can get up to. Adding in locations from other canons in play here is A-OK.
The basic idea, though, is that Orochi got bored as hell and smashed historical periods together; ergo, important locations from any and all canons in play here can be used. There is no world map because heads might explode. Everything's just kind of smashed into a jumble, but there might be some terrain shifting or random lava pools or weird crap like that, so don't count on that escape route you used back home coming here along with the rest of the battlefield...
Orochi also commands the demon hordes! They are all over the place, getting in your way, taking over your castles, and generally ridiculously outnumbering everybody. If you want a fight, you'll never have to look far to find it...and further back in the timeline, alliances are confusing enough that you probably won't have much trouble finding human opponents, either.
The main camp, such as it is, exists near the end of the timeline - and as reality has been getting steadily more screwed up over time, the land is at its worst outside of here. Dark skies, lava, and general apocalyptic bullshit. Also Orochi's eight giant snake heads visible in the distance. (Conventional weapons won't do a bit of good against those. Watch yourself.) If you've got an urgent time-traveling mission to take care of, Kaguya can always be assumed to be around the main camp, ready to take you back in time to whenever. Her limitation, however, is that she has to follow the thread of someone's life back - so you'll need someone who was originally there at a specific battle if you want to go back and have a re-do to save your best friend's life or something.
